Utopia Std, as a transitional typeface, has all the advantages of a traditional serif typeface along with a modern aesthetic. We use Utopia for body copy and large areas of concentrated text because of its legibility. The serifs help the eye travel across long lines of text, increasing reading speed.
Univers Lt Std is a clean, simple, legible typeface that is versatile and distinctive, yet unobtrusive. We use Univers for shorter text settings, such as tables, charts, graphs, captions, credits and legal language. The simplified letterforms enhance readability of characters at smaller sizes.
Utopia Std and Univers Lt Std are the OneAmerica print font standards. For appliactions or computers that do not support these fonts, please review the Fallback fonts below.
The two main fonts for OneAmerica properties are Noto Serif (Serif) and Roboto (Sans-Serif). Both fonts are available through CDN calls, Noto Serif is available available as an Adobe Typekit and Google Font, while Roboto is a Google Font. Please do not direct to a local directory when calling the fonts. Links to the kits provided below.

The main OneAmerica icon set is FontAwesome (FA). Like the base fonts, the preferred method of calling the font it through the FontAwesome CDN (or any call that pulls from the main server of Font Awesome and not within a local server directory) Please contact the UI Design team to obtain the proper credentials to call the font.
FA has several weights, for OA purposes, please use only the light, regular and solid. Thin and Duotone present legibility issues that doesn’t preclude their use, but does contribute to them not being included in the use list.
