Meal & Baggage Allowance

At conference registration in Nashville, you will receive a meal and baggage allowance check for you and your primary guest.

  • We are so excited to see you in Music City! Nashville is known for its music, but what we wanted to alert you to another familiar sound filling the streets. It’s that of construction and heavy equipment. So be forewarned detours are likely.

The Broadway Bridge, which runs right next to the Grand Hyatt Nashville, is closed for construction. Your arrival route to the hotel may change due to the closure, and construction noise may be heard throughout your stay.

Here are a few resources you can use while you enjoy this year’s Leaders’ Conference:

Use the TDOT Broadway Detour Routes map from the TDOT Bridge Construction page to help familiarize yourself with the detours.

Contact the hotel front desk for complimentary earplugs.

Turn your room’s AC “fan” to the high setting to muffle any unwanted noises.

Download a noise-cancelling app on your phone and use it when needed.

We apologize for any inconveniences the construction may cause. It was planned to be completed last year, and our thoughts echo that of Kenny Chesney, “We didn't turn it on, but we can't turn it off, off, off.”

  • OneAmerica has made all the necessary airline arrangements for your trip. By now you should have received your flight itinerary from OneAmerica Travel Headquarters. If not, please call 888-490-6347.

    E-ticket confirmations

PLEASE REVIEW YOUR ITINERARY NOW AND VERIFY YOUR TICKETS. Your electronic ticket represents your reservation. You will not be issued a paper ticket.

Because of potential unannounced airline schedule changes, please reconfirm your reservations with the originating airline listed on your flight schedule one day prior to your departure.

Because of rule restrictions on many airfares, making changes to your flights (times, routing, etc.) could result in airlines imposing penalties or higher airfare, which will be passed on to you. Please inform us of any necessary changes so we can advise you of cost and seating availability. Every attempt has been made to obtain your seating preference. Boarding passes are issued online within 24 hours of your flight by most U.S. carriers, or they may be obtained from the airline at the airport on the day of departure.

To verify or change your seats, please check in early directly with the airline. Also, be aware that some carriers may reassign your seat if you have not checked in for the flight at least one hour prior to departure.

If you are unable to travel according to your flight schedule, please contact OneAmerica Travel Headquarters immediately at 888-490-6347.

Reminder: If you chose to book your own flight reservations, you take full responsibility for any flight itinerary changes prior to/ during your travel. OneAmerica Travel Headquarters does not have the authority to assist with any changes when you book on your own.

    Required travel documents

REAL ID Compliance Alert: Passengers with a driver’s license issued by a state that is still not compliant with the REAL ID Act (and has not been granted an extension) will need to show an alternative form of acceptable identification for domestic air travel to board their flight. Keynote speaker: Jimmy Yeary

Jimmy Yeary is the rarest of speakers. Because his content is filled with instantly recognizable moments, audiences are quickly taken to a high level of energy. For well over a decade, he has influenced millions of people--how they think and what they think about--on a daily basis. Jimmy Yeary is not only a highly sought-after speaker, he is a hugely successful songwriter and his music is all around you.

Jimmy Yeary was writing songs long before becoming the lead singer of the Grammy Award winning supergroup SHENANDOAH. These were years that saw Jimmy performing #1 hits like Mama Knows, Somewhere In the Vicinity of the Heart, and Sunday in the South.

Today, in Nashville and Los Angeles, one of the most common calls in the music industry is from an artist's representative to Sony Publishing requesting availability on songs from Jimmy Yeary's catalogue of music.

It's not surprising. Jimmy has written more than two-thousand songs, many of which have been featured on albums selling millions of copies--Grammy winners, gold and platinum awards among them. Nine of Jimmy's songs have been certified "Number 1" hits as singles by Billboard Magazine.

Recently, both the CMA and ACM awarded Jimmy Yeary with "Song of the Year" for I Drive Your Truck--the inspiring song he wrote about the father of a fallen soldier and how he continues to remember his son. Jimmy's most recent Number 1 was Everything's Gonna Be Alright, a song he wrote for Kenny Chesney and David Lee Murphy.

He has also been called "one of the most engaging speakers in the country". Jimmy takes the lessons he has learned and the experiences he has encountered in his music career and applies them to the process of creating results for businesses, organizations, and teams.

Facilitating growth while creating and maintaining significant relationships has become Jimmy's trademark as a communicator. Emotional awareness, a greater understanding of other people, and the shared experiences that build an effective team herald the genius of Jimmy Yeary. Not only can he speak to who you are as an organization, he will put it to music!

    Charity Event

This year OneAmerica is a proud supporter of Park Center, a nonprofit organization that has served Nashville since 1984. The organization provides a place for hope and recovery for people experiencing serious mental illness, homelessness and substance use disorders. They empathetically meet people where they are by providing treatment, housing, day programs, homeless outreach and employment services to people in need. Each individual served is of low income and lives in Park Center housing, boarding homes, shelters or on the streets.

Today it is our honor to support Park Center’s mission by filling backpacks with toiletry items, hats, water bottles and food items that will be distributed to those they serve.
